In April, 8 Japanese major undergraduates of the Foreign Language School received 15200 RMB from the Dalian Alumni Association: 4 freshmen received 2000 Yuan per person, and 4 sophomores, 1800 Yuan per person. The eight students were selected through the procedure of self-recommendation, class recommendation and discussion by the Japanese Department.

Since 1998, Japanese Graduate’s Alumni Association in Dalian has denoted 78920 RMB to 58 students for 7 consecutive years. The members of the Association had a close relationship with each other and held the “Happy New Year” party annually and the Reunion Party irregularly, which were also participated by graduates of other majors and those who concern about the development of the Japanese Department.
